The Needs: The Information Technology Services department (ITS) periodically experiences surges in requests, including those about navigating university platforms and setting up dual-factor authentication. They wanted to provide self-help resources for common issues, reducing the load on their support team.
The Solutions: I developed a range of eLearning resources for the IT department using Articulate 360, Camtasia, and Adobe CC. By making these resources available on department websites and databases, we provided quick solutions for university members.
The Results: Our resources helped staff, faculty, and students navigate the university’s systems more effectively. There were positive signs of increased student use of our instructional resources. Signs showed easing of burdens on the ITS department.
